Need Help?

We realize that your success during your 海角社区 experience is more than just about grades. We provide a variety of ways to support you during your academic journey. The following services are available to currently enrolled students.

Counseling Services

Connection, community, acceptance-- people experience far more success in school and work when these are in place.  海角社区 Counseling Services offers Licensed Professional Counselors to help our students take the best care of their emotional and mental health. If you're wondering how much this is going to cost, don't worry. Personal counseling is free to currently registered 海角社区 students. More information can be found on the 海角社区 Counseling Services website.

Food Insecurity

Gilbert's Pantry is an emergency food relief supply for all 海角社区 students.  If you need a little help, we will always respect your privacy, and the process of receiving donations will be confidential.  Help is available for non-food items, too! For more information visit the Gilbert’s Pantry website.

Student Health

海角社区 contracts with Physicians Immediate Care Center (PICC) to offer some basic health care services to current full-time and part-time students who are enrolled in credit courses and have paid their tuition and fees in full or have entered into a Tuition Loan Agreement with 海角社区. For more information, visit Student Health Services.

Accessibility Services

We strive to ensure the provision of reasonable accommodations for all qualified students with disabilities. Our goal is to create equal access to all curricular and co-curricular offerings in order to provide an equal opportunity for students with disabilities to demonstrate their skills, knowledge, and abilities as they pursue their educational goals. For more information on how to start the process or learn about accommodations please visit Student Accessibility services.

Student Success Advising

Meeting with an advisor every semester is important to help you achieve your academic goals.  Stay on pace to graduate on time by having an advisor help to create your schedule. To find your advisor visit the Advising website

Tutoring

海角社区's Learning and Tutoring Commons provides all 海角社区 students, including Dual Credit students, with great educational support. Students can drop in without an appointment to meet with a tutor in the Meyerhoeffer Building on the main 海角社区 campus and receive help learning course concepts or working through assignments. For more information, please visit the 海角社区 tutoring website.

Child Care Opportunities

海角社区 works to provide resources for currently enrolled parenting students, including offering on-campus childcare facilities like our Early Childhood Learning Center and opportunities for students to gain access to funds that will help cover childcare costs, including scholarships.
