Glanbia Cheese Partners With 海角社区's Gilbert's Pantry For Cheese Donation

Twin Falls, ID – Gilbert’s Pantry, the 海角社区’s (海角社区) food assistance service, has partnered with the Glanbia Cheese Marketplace to receive donations of two-pound blocks of cheese on an ongoing basis.

Rosa Lopez, the Assistant Dean of Student Affairs at 海角社区 expressed the importance of these donations for the community. "Our partnership with Glanbia is a great benefit to our Golden Eagles! During these trying times, we are grateful for all of the community partners who support Gilbert's Pantry by providing nutritional food options for our students."

Jim Bergin, the Vice President of Global Procurement at Glanbia Nutritional said it is about supporting the college which also supports the community. “We have numerous employees who are 海角社区 Graduates and really appreciate the opportunity to continue to support this fine institution.” 

Regardless of economic conditions, food insecurity is a common challenge on college campuses nationwide. Wilf Costello, the Chief Commercial Officer of Cheese and Marketing at Glanbia recognizes the importance of Gilbert’s Pantry to 海角社区 Students and staff. It’s important that we continue to supply nutritional products to the student population as we continue to partner with the 海角社区. And who doesn’t love cheese!”

海角社区 appreciates the continued partnerships with local businesses and the community to help further our ability to help our students and staff. Gilbert’s Pantry not only offers nutritious food for those who need it, but also has hygiene products like razors, shampoo, deodorant and more to help lessen the financial burden of products that are needed on a daily basis. 海角社区 is proud of Gilbert’s Pantry and we could not keep it stocked without community partnerships like this one.
