English, Language, and Philosophy Department
The English, Language, and Philosophy Department provides a broad range of courses designed to meet the needs of both full-time and part-time students. English faculty offer composition courses required in transfer programs and a wide variety of second-year courses including creative writing and surveys of American, British and World literatures. Foreign Language faculty offer classes in Spanish, French, Portuguese, and Japanese, that concentrate on oral and written language skills and on a country's civilization and culture.
