Admission Steps

The Digital Media program is reviewed by an advisory board composed of local and regional industry members. Students may enter the program in the fall or spring semester. However, due to course sequencing, it is recommended that you start the program in the fall semester.

  1. Apply to 海角社区: Fill out the free online form to Apply to 海角社区. Next, watch your email for an acceptance letter with further instructions on how to get set up as a new 海角社区 student. 

  2. Limited enrollment: The Digital Media program has a limited enrollment of 18 incoming freshmen students. In addition, Digital Media students are required to take classes in-person (Monday through Thursday) in order to successfully complete the program requirements. 

  3. Prepare for Registration: Make an appointment with an  to declare your major and get registration clearance.

  4. Schedule an appointment: Students will need to schedule a meeting with the program manager, Laura Erickson, in order to discuss the next steps to officially start the program.
