Dual credit coursework enables high school students to make progress towards a college degree before they finish high school and save on the overall cost of a college education.
Each Idaho high school student can apply for up to $4625 to apply toward dual credit college courses. All students who are attending a public high school in Idaho are eligible.

Please Note: If a student fails or withdraws from a dual credit course that was paid for with Advanced Opportunities (AO)funding, a hold will be placed on their AO account. To remove the hold, the student will be responsible for paying out of pocket for the next dual credit course they take (regardless of the course) and then passing that course BEFORE they are able to access Advanced Opportunities funding again. Students who need to pay for their dual credit course out of pocket can make payments online through , in-person, or over the phone at (208) 732-6212.
Students may be required to purchase textbooks and supplies. Students will be responsible for paying these fees out of pocket.
Some textbooks are available free or for reduced cost in digital form. Some 海角社区 courses are part of the Inclusive Access program. Inclusive Access converts physical course materials into instantly accessible, totally interactive and adaptive digital content, while drastically reducing the cost to students. When you register in the Dual Enroll portal, you will see which classes have the reduced Inclusive Access book fee. For more details, see the .
