Financial Aid & Scholarship Timeline 2024-2025

Please refer to the financial aid & scholarship timeline to ensure you're on the right path for funding your education. Contact Enrollment Services if you have questions.

Apply for the general scholarship via once you are admitted to the college

October 1  Idaho Opportunity Scholarship available for Idaho residents
FEBRUARY
February 1 Aid offer notifications begin for students. Watch your 海角社区 email for notifications and login to My海角社区 Self Service to review financial aid & scholarship offers

Aid must be accepted along with the completion of the and for funds to be disbursed to your student account by tuition and fee due date. Note that MPN and Entrance Counseling do not have to be completed/signed each semester.

Students and families should review finances in My海角社区 to make sure expenses are covered

 MARCH
March 1 Priority scholarship and financial aid application date. In order to serve students and their families better, fall applicants who are admitted and submit their FAFSA by this date are assured full consideration for all 海角社区 general scholarships and financial aid available. After March 1, the college will continue to admit students, award scholarships and other financial aid to qualified students on a rolling basis as applications are received.
March 1  Idaho Opportunity Scholarship Deadline (for returning students only)
March 15 Summer review for students enrolled in summer courses begins. Aid offer notifications begin for students. Watch your 海角社区 email for notification and login to My海角社区 Self Service to review financial aid & scholarship offers.
 JUNE
June 1 Not enrolled students will forfeit their Federal Supplemental Opportunity Grant (FSEOG). Remaining FSEOG funds will be re-allocated to enrolled students.
 JULY
 July 1 Scholarship Recipients - Final High School Transcript Due
AUGUST 
Throughout August
  • Review finances to make sure tuition and fees, room and board and book expenses are covered.
  • Enrollment Specialits are available to assist students and families in determining options.
  • Student statements are available for student and family review.
  • Setup stipend preference with Nelnet. Need help? Contact Enrollment Services in Eagle Central
August 1 Priority Financial Aid Document Date – All required documents must be submitted by this date in order to have aid offered (including scholarships) available. Aid must be accepted/declined and all required documents including entrance Counseling & MPN completed for funds to disburse by tuition and fee due date.
August 1 Students receiving scholarship awards are required to complete their registration and accept any pending awards. Students not fully registered will have their awards removed and the funds will be redistributed to other eligible students.
August 1 Students not enrolled full-time will have their aid offered reduced.
August 1 After this date only enrolled students will be packaged federal financial aid
August 8 Open work-study positions are posted online
August 15 Second Round scholarship review begins
August 15 Priority Processing Date - Western Undergraduate Exchange (WUE) & Waiver of Non-Resident Tuition (WNRT) Applications Due
August 26 First Disbursement/Credit to Student Accounts - stipends start August 29
August 29 Stipends for federal aid and scholarships begin.
SEPTEMBER 
September 1  General Scholarship Application Closes
September 17 30 Day Delay Disbursement/Credit to student accounts for student loans
September 19 Stipends for 30 Day Delay begin
OCTOBER 
October 1 FAFSA opens for 2025-2026

October 18 Mid-Semester Disbursement/Credit to student accounts for student loans
October 22 Stipends for Mid-Semester loans begin
