A first-generation student is any student whose parents have not completed a college degree.
A first-time student is any degree-seeking freshman student who has never attended any college or university as a degree-seeking student. First-time students may have college-level credit through a high school dual-credit or equivalent program, but may not have directly attended the 海角社区, or another college or university, as a degree-seeking student.
